Online classes can take anywhere from weeks to months. Of course, it will depend on how much time you have to dedicate to the course. On-Campus

You may even decide to start with a certificate course and then, once working in the field, you can continue your education to obtain an Associate's Degree. 

On-campus courses give you the opportunity to meet other students, form study groups, and participate in campus activities. Having these options can be very beneficial to some people. It helps them stay in the student mindset and gives them others to help keep them motivated.
